# Getting started

> Install RealProof, add the blocks to your theme and collect your first review.

RealProof collects reviews from your customers and shows them on your store. Setup takes about ten minutes.

## 1. Install the app

Install RealProof from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions. You land on the **Overview** page, which fills in as reviews arrive.

## 2. Add the blocks to your theme

Open **Online Store → Customize → Product page**, choose **Add block → Apps** and add the blocks you want:

| Block | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| **Customer reviews** | The full review widget with summary, photos and the write-a-review form |
| **Product rating badge** | Stars and review count near the product title |
| **Review structured data** | Invisible markup that helps Google show star ratings in search |
| **All store reviews** | A page section with reviews from across your store |
| **Customer social proof** | A strip of customer avatars and a short message |
| **Featured logos** | A row of "as seen in" logos |

The **UGC Video** block is an app embed. Turn it on under **Theme settings → App embeds**.

## 3. Check the review emails

Open **Settings** and confirm *Send review request emails after fulfilled orders* is ticked. Customers receive an email after their order is fulfilled, with a link to rate the product and add photos or video.

## 4. Approve your first review

New reviews arrive as **Pending** unless you import them as approved. Open **Reviews** and approve them so they appear on your store.
